Speeltuinloop Hollandscheveld

Speeltuinloop is an evening running event held on the first Wednesday in June. The youngest children begin the races, and the 5 km event concludes the program. The event features short, age-grouped races: 600 meters for children up to age 5, another 600 meters for ages 6 and 7, 1 km for ages 8 to 10, 2 km for ages 11 to 14, and 5 km for runners aged 15 and older. The schedule progresses in 15-minute intervals from early evening, allowing families to watch multiple children's races before the older runners begin. Youth entry fees are kept low, with a reduced rate for pre-entry and a slightly higher fee on the day of the event. Participants can register online beforehand, and on-site registration remains open until 20 minutes prior to each race's start.
