Valle Skyrace 2026

Valle Skyrace begins and ends in Valle, a Norwegian mountain village encircled by high terrain. The primary race covers approximately 43 km, with a 12 km alternative. The event takes place in August, organized by Valle IL as an active weekend. The long course departs the village, crosses Harstadberg, and follows the old støylsveien. It ascends steeply up Nomelandsfjellet to 795 metres. The route then descends to Honnevje, climbs Homfjellet (950 metres), and drops through Laugardalen and Homme, proceeding towards Tveitebø. The race originated as part of Valle IL’s 100th anniversary, linking it closely to the local sports club, not merely a marked mountain path.
