O tomto preteku
Bieg Rychwałdeckie Szczyty is a 6 km mountain race held in Rychwałdek, near Łękawica in Poland’s Beskid Żywiecki region, typically in late spring. While it is a short trail event, the 90-minute cut-off and the significant elevation changes present a challenge beyond a simple road race.
The course begins and ends at the sports field on Widok Street. Participants will encounter a varied terrain including asphalt, gravel, field trails, rocky sections, and sand. A hydration station is positioned around the 2.5 km mark. The route is not officially certified and is characterized as an “anglosaski” mountain race, indicating it involves both ascents and descents rather than a single climb. Run Roots and Marek Firlej are the organizers, with a participant limit of 100 runners.
