Festival de course du Nord is a running event on Poland’s Baltic coast, situated on the narrow Hel Peninsula instead of a typical city-road course. The race offers a trail-and-coast adventure over standard asphalt running, with routes crossing pine forest, sand dunes, and sections alongside the Baltic Sea. The course places runners between land and water, with sea wind, wave sounds, pine resin, and sand underfoot defining the experience. Following the finish, Hel provides a unique recovery: runners can go to the peninsula’s tip, walk to the end of Poland, and rest on the wooden pontoons with sand still in their shoes.
