VIII Rodzinny Bieg Odblaskowy
The VIII Family Reflective Run is an orienteering event in Opole, Poland, incorporating family and road-safety themes. It is organized by Dobre Czasy s.c., the Municipal Police Headquarters in Opole, and District Council IV of Opole, with partners Auchan Opole, ZmierzymyCzas.pl, and Rally Team Szkoła Nauki Jazdy. Electronic timing ensures results are managed as a timed competition. In orienteering, participants use a map and compass to locate control points sequentially with speed. The route between points is the runner's decision, emphasizing navigation alongside pace. Competitors typically begin individually at short intervals, verifying each control point via card or chip. Only those correctly recording all required points are included in the final standings. The sport originated in Scandinavia, with its English name derived from the Swedish "orientering."
