Wojewódzki Bieg Przełajowy O Puchar Borsuka 2026

The Wojewódzki Bieg Przełajowy o Puchar Borsuka is a cross-country race series held at the historic Ironworks complex in Zagwiździe, Municipality of Murów. The municipality has organized the event since 2012, offering several distances: children can compete in 300 m, 400 m, 800 m, or 1200 m races, while older or more experienced participants may select a 3.5 km run or the main 12 km race. A 3.5 km Nordic Walking category is also available. The routes traverse forest and field paths within Stobrawski Landscape Park, giving the race a trail event character rather than a road race feel. The longer course leads runners towards Wilcza Buda and the earthwork mound in Murów, establishing a distinct link to the local villages and landscape. Primary school students participate in their own races, and the variety of distances accommodates children, casual runners, walkers, and those aiming for the main cross-country race.
