Semi-Marathon d'Ameal

The Semi-Marathon d'Ameal is a city running event in Coimbra, held around mid-September. The programme offers runners and walkers three choices: a 21.0975 km half marathon, a 10 km road race, and a 10 km walk. All three distances use single-loop routes in the city, rather than a multi-lap circuit. The 10 km road race draws the most interest, while the half marathon suits runners who want the full distance and the walk gives non-runners a way to join the same event.
