The Classic City Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay takes place in March in Georgia, offering multiple ways to run the marathon-day course. Participants can select the 26.2-mile full marathon, the 13.1-mile half marathon, a 2- to 4-person marathon relay, or a Greek Life marathon relay with teams of the same size. The relay allows participation in the full-course event without each individual running the entire 26.2 miles. The relay course is divided into four legs, with four-person teams typically running approximately 6 to 7 miles each. Teammates exchange a specific Relay Belt and Relay Bib at designated zones before the last runner proceeds to the finish. Any group of two, three, or four individuals can register as a relay team, designate a captain, and select a team name.
