Turkey Trails - Fayetteville is a Thanksgiving-themed running event in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with choices from a short kids' dash up to a half marathon. The main menu covers 5K, 10K, and half marathon races, plus an untimed 1 Mile option and a Kid's Dash for children ages 10 and under. Lake Vian Hilltop Run is a late-winter trail race on a short 2-mile loop beside Lake Vian, with distances from a 4 Miler up to a 100 Miler. The setup is built around repeated laps: runners come back through the cheer zone and aid area every 2 miles, which makes it easy to refuel, get encouragement, and manage gear without disappearing deep into the woods. The event is chip timed, all distances share a morning start window, and the long races run under a cutoff that reaches into the following day. The loop mixes paved sections with single track dirt trail, then winds through the woods to a hilltop view over Lake Vian. The race serves both short-distance runners and ultrarunners, with a half marathon, 50k, 50 Miler, 100k, and 100 Miler on the menu alongside the 4 Miler. Runners can set up personal aid stations and campsites before race day, and early starts are allowed for people worried about the cutoff, though early starters and drop-downs do not count for podium places. Anyone who finishes at least 4 miles gets a medal, 100-mile finishers get a buckle, and podium awards go to the top three humans in each category without separate gender divisions. Race photography is included and free to download or share.

This March event offers a full marathon, a half marathon, and a five-leg marathon relay, allowing participants to select the full distance, a shorter solo race, or a team option on the marathon course. The marathon course crosses historic downtown, adjacent neighborhoods, paved trails, and undulating terrain featuring significant climbs and descents. The half marathon follows the marathon route initially, diverging around mile 7.5, and reconnecting near mile 9 for the return to the finish. Relay teams divide the marathon into five segments, each approximately 4.5 to 6.3 miles long, with individual elevation changes. Pre-race amenities include coffee, donuts, packet pickup, and a shakeout run. Post-race, participants receive food, can review results, and awards for the full and half marathons are distributed.
