Half Marathon preteky v blízkosti Morgantown

The Pocono Mountains Marathon Race Festival is a fall running event held at Promised Land State Park in Greentown, Pennsylvania. The start and finish lines are located at the Upper Lake Overflow Parking Lot. Participants can select from a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon. The marathon is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier, with PA certification number 21011NP. The course winds through the state park during the fall foliage season, offering a wooded Pocono park running experience rather than city streets. Elite Feats organizes the event, and Mark Hughes is the race director. Awards are presented in male, female, and nonbinary categories, with age-group awards for nonbinary runners in the marathon, half marathon, and 10K. First-time half marathon and marathon finishers receive a commemorative plaque alongside their finisher medal. Registration includes a shirt, medal, and running socks.

MR Half Marathon je halloweensky polmaratón, ktorý štartuje v Morgantown Running na Beechurst Avenue v Morgantown, West Virginia. Preteky začínajú za Seneca Center na rail trail. Parkovať sa dá na parkovisku Seneca Center. Ponúkajú aj detské preteky na 1-mile. Toto podujatie je pretek číslo 17 v NCWV series. Na polmaratón je 4-hour časový limit a na trati platí zákaz psov. Polmaratón vedie po rovnej, plochej a rýchlej 13.1-mile trati typu out-and-back smerom na Point Marion a Sheepskin Rail Trail. Prvé takmer 3 miles sú asfaltové, potom sa menia na drvený vápenec. Trať ponúka tieň a výhľady na Monongahela River. Občerstvovačky sú na miles 2, 3, 5, 8, 10 a 11. Gély sú k dispozícii na trati. Ocenenia dostanú prví traja celkovo muži a ženy, a tiež víťazi jednotlivých vekových kategórií. Detský 1-mile pretek je tiež out-and-back na rail trail, smerom k Core Arboretum.

The full marathon is a certified Boston Marathon Qualifier, running two loops of the half marathon course. First-time half or full marathon finishers receive a special plaque and finisher's medal. SWAG includes a T-shirt, finisher's medal, and ankle running socks. Service members and their families receive a 10% discount. A non-binary registration option includes its own awards.

This Mother's Day, the Mother's Day Run for the Roses is a point-to-point run. It is part of the Great Allegheny Ohiopyle Marathon Race Festival and the Great Appalachian Valley Race series. The event attracts 1-50 participants.
