The course’s main appeal is its unique surface and location: instead of running around the lake, participants run across the exposed lake bottom. The first race sold out two weeks before the event, and participation is capped. Finishers receive a Lake Bottom t-shirt, a custom wood medal, complimentary race photos, and chip timing.
