9/11 Heroes Run - New Orleans, Louisiana

The 9/11 Heroes Run in New Orleans begins and ends at the Audubon Park Bandstand in Audubon Park. The event offers a 5K run, a 5K ruck, and a volunteer option. This race is connected to the September 11 remembrance period and follows the standard 5K distance of approximately 3.1 miles, accommodating runners, walkers, and those seeking the challenge of carrying weight. The event commemorates the victims of 9/11, as well as military members, veterans, first responders, and families of the fallen who have continued their service. The ruck division is a result of a GORUCK partnership, where participants walk or run with weighted rucksacks. This format is based on special forces training, and ruck registrants will receive a TMF GORUCK patch.
