The ACSL Stride For Service 5K begins at Elon Community Church on North Williamson Avenue in Elon, North Carolina. Check-in occurs before the 8:00 AM start. This is a small-town 5K fundraiser for the Alamance County Service League, an organization that has assisted Alamance County residents for over 95 years.
The race accommodates various participants, including experienced runners, walkers, joggers, those with strollers, and individuals new to running for a community event. Funds raised benefit the League's efforts with disadvantaged Alamance County members through partnerships, volunteer service, and direct assistance. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age group, from under 10 to 80-plus, for both men and women.
