The Elroy Lions Club hosts its annual races during Apple Dumpling Days. Since 2007, the event has grown from a kids race to include more challenging routes. In 2008, a race for the very young was added, and by 2013, a certified long-distance option was available. It's a sweet way to enjoy the town's festivities.
