This is not a simple run. Much of the course follows the Lake Superior Hitching Trail, featuring uneven terrain, steep climbs and descents, and views that can distract when footing is critical. A first-timer might consider walking sections, then enjoying the festival atmosphere and the "beautiful scenery and the local charm" afterward, making the effort rewarding.
