Beti Bike Bash, a women-only mountain bike race, takes place at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado, on the trail network near Morrison. It is the world’s largest women-only MTB race, offering categories for children, junior girls, adult beginners, experienced racers, and professionals.
The start and finish are at the park pavilion area, with racer parking within the park and an expo area for sponsors and post-race food. The race began in 2010 and developed alongside Little Bellas, the girls’ mountain bike program it supported; initial fields included only 25 junior girls, and organizers worked to encourage more girls to ride bikes. Local groups like Evergreen Bike Club provide snacks, drinks, and support, making the day feel as much like a community ride as a competition.
