The Charleston Itty Bitty 50 is a 50-mile point-to-point road race held in the Charleston, South Carolina area. A relay option is available for teams. This is a self-supported and unmarked event; roads remain open, no aid stations are provided, and participants are responsible for their own food, water, navigation, and transportation. Entry is limited to 75 participants, with a waitlist available. The $30 entry donation includes tracker rental.
The course begins at the terminus of the West Ashley Greenway. It crosses the Charleston peninsula, then proceeds through Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, and the Isle of Palms, concluding at the Park West track and field in Mount Pleasant. Participants are not finished upon reaching the track; they must complete one additional 400-meter lap as the final timed segment. Organizers track finish times, and runners have approximately 18 hours to complete the distance.
