Discovery Dash 5K/10K and 1 Mile Fun Run

A 120-year-old church is located directly on the Discovery Dash route at Discovery Park of America. This autumn race series includes a 10K, a 5K, and a 1-mile fun run. Races will start in a staggered sequence each morning, followed by an awards ceremony. The course winds through the park’s outdoor heritage areas. It passes a man-made river, waterfalls, bridges, an 1800s frontier settlement, a reproduction early 19th-century town, and a complete vintage train station. The 5K and 10K races offer awards for male and female participants across age groups. The fun run provides a shorter option for families and casual runners to participate.
