Firestone Park YMCA Tread Together 5K 2026

The Firestone Park YMCA Tread Together 5K is a 9:00 AM run/walk held on the Bridgestone Test Track in Firestone Park, Akron. Firestone Park YMCA and Bridgestone organize the event, with NECA presenting. It offers participants a unique opportunity to run on a course designed around a tire test track, distinct from typical neighborhood routes. Though a relatively new race, it features a comprehensive setup: chip timing at the start and finish, with results from RunToYou Racing available almost immediately. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, the top male and female masters, and the top three in age groups ranging from 14-and-under to 80-plus. This structure accommodates competitive runners, casual walkers, families, and older athletes.
