Frosty Forest 5K

The Frosty Forest 5K is an off-road 5K held at Roosevelt Forest in Stratford, Connecticut. The race begins at 10 AM and features a holiday theme. This is a trail event, so participants should have some trail experience. The pace is flexible, allowing runners to run, jog, hike, or walk the 5K distance. The course takes participants off paved surfaces and into the forest. Holiday costumes are encouraged. Awards are given to the top three women and top three men. All finishers receive a custom medallion. Registration functions as a donation; there are no refunds or deferrals. A portion of the proceeds benefits local organizations, including the Roosevelt Forest Commission, the Veteran's Museum, and Stratford Library.
