Heart of Gold 5K

The Heart of Gold 5K supports Oakland's first responders. Profits benefit Oakland's Fire, Police, and EMS, and the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Shelter. This is the only 5K held annually in Oakland. The course in Oakland's Industrial Park is accessible for runners and walkers. Top ten finishers in each gender receive medals; overall winners receive a trophy.
