Heath Golf & Yacht Club Turkey Dash 2026

The Heath Golf & Yacht Club Turkey Dash is a Thanksgiving morning fun run held at the clubhouse on Clubhouse Drive in Rockwall, Texas. This is the event's second year and it includes two distances: a 5K for adults and older children, and a Kid's 1K that begins earlier. All money raised benefits Helping Hands of Rockwall County, assisting local families facing hardship. The 1K follows a simple out-and-back route from the clubhouse. The 5K follows a loop heading east on Governor's Drive, north on Trophy, and then west back to the clubhouse on Governor's Drive. All 1K finishers receive a medal, and the top three boys and girls are recognized. The 5K awards overall male and female finishers, as well as age-group winners, with prizes that match the location: gold, silver, and bronze golf balls.
