Lincolnwood Turkey Trot: 5K, 10K, Walk, Dash

The Lincolnwood Turkey Trot, held in Lincolnwood, Illinois, is a Thanksgiving-season race featuring chip-timed, USATF-certified 5K and 10K runs beginning in the morning. The event also offers a 5K Fitness Walk and a short Drumstick Dash for children six and under, accommodating both serious runners and young children. The 5K and 10K courses are flat and fast, crossing Lincolnwood. Packet pickup and in-person registration take place at the Lincolnwood Community Center. All finishers in the run and walk receive medals. The top three finishers in each distance earn race medals, with overall winners determined by gun time and age-group winners by chip time. The Drumstick Dash spans 50 or 100 yards based on age, and children under five must be accompanied by a guardian.
