Monumental 5K and Veterans Honor Walk

The Monumental 5K and Veterans Honor Walk is a flat street 5K in Anadarko, Oklahoma, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Central Time from 901 East Broadway. This is the second year for the event, which combines a timed 5K with a free Veterans Honor Walk, allowing participants to either race the distance or join the day noncompetitively. The route passes through the Caddo County Fairgrounds and the City of Anadarko, utilizing a less busy layout that bypasses major highway crossings. 5K participants receive a race shirt, runner ID number, sponsor swag bag, and a participation medal. Medals will also be awarded to the fastest three male and female finishers. The Veterans Honor Walk invites participants to share military service stories, and proceeds from the race benefit the general operation fund of American Legion Post 24 in Anadarko.
