The #NFStrong 5K in Memphis is a morning 5K supporting Neurofibromatosis. Registration and check-in begin at 9:00 AM, with the Facebook Live Kick-Off and the in-person run starting at 10:00 AM. This event is part of the #NFStrong series organized by NF Network. The Memphis event provides a hybrid format, allowing participants to register for either an in-person 5K or a virtual 5K.
The race focuses on the NF community rather than competition. Participants fundraise for NF Network support and research initiatives. The broader goal is to unite families, friends, and supporters in the pursuit of better treatments and a cure for NF. This marks the 11th year for the Memphis event, and the virtual option allows participation from any location.
