Rocky Gap 25K, 50K, Relay Trail Run

The Rocky Gap 25K, 50K, and Relay Trail Run takes place in Rocky Gap State Park, located in Flintstone, western Maryland. The majority of the race follows unpaved trails. Participants can select the 25K (approximately 16 miles) or the 50K (approximately 32 miles). Both distances are also open to relay teams consisting of two or three runners. The course is designed with three distinct loops. 25K participants will complete each loop once, whereas 50K participants will run the entire set of loops twice. This event is geared towards individual trail runners and small teams, not for competitive prize money. The race originated from a local trail running community that the organizers have been developing at Rocky Gap since 2004.
