The Snow Canyon Half Marathon 10k 5k Fun Run Walk n' Roll is a November race in St. George, Utah, featuring a downhill half marathon near Southern Utah's red rock formations. Participants can choose from 21.1 km, 10 km, and 5 km races, along with a Fun Run Walk n' Roll for individuals aged 2-18 and participants with disabilities. The mild November weather in St. George, with typical daytime highs in the upper 60s, contributes to the event's draw, attracting many runners from outside Washington County.
The half marathon begins on State Route 18, proceeds south for approximately four miles, then enters Snow Canyon State Park before winding through western St. George neighborhoods. The course concludes at Snow Canyon High School, transitioning from open desert roads and red rock scenery into the city, rather than remaining on a single closed loop. The shorter races commence at the same point as the half marathon, with the Fun Run Walk n' Roll later providing 1-mile and 200-meter options. St. George Races, a division of the City of St. George Parks and Community Services Department, is the organizer.
