Spring Hill Turkey Burn

The Spring Hill Turkey Burn takes place on Thanksgiving weekend in Spring Hill, Tennessee, offering a half marathon, 5K, and a short kids’ run. Tennessee Children’s Home organizes the event to raise funds for its programs supporting displaced families and youth; Nashville Striders manages the race operations. The event accommodates various runner levels, from children in the 1-mile run to adults completing the half marathon, with finisher medals awarded to both half-marathon and 5K participants. The start and finish lines are located at Spring Hill High School. The half marathon route extends north towards Jameson, crossing the backroads of Maury County and Spring Hill. Participants will encounter a course comprising gravel, asphalt, and cement surfaces, featuring hilly sections, out-and-back segments, and tranquil roads with minimal traffic. Portions of the course are on General Motors property and Donald F. Ephlin Parkway, and runners may pass historic Haynes Haven. A virtual race option is also provided for those wishing to contribute to the fundraiser without running the course physically.
