O tomto preteku
Swim the Suck is a 10-mile downstream open-water swim in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The race follows the Tennessee River through the Tennessee River Gorge, meaning swimmers spend the day moving with the current between tall canyon walls rather than circling buoys in a lake or pool.
The field draws swimmers from across the United States, and sometimes from outside the country. Its main appeal is simple and specific: a long point-to-point river swim through one of the South’s most dramatic gorge settings, with the current helping shape the pace and feel of the race.
