Walpole Labor Day Road Race

The Walpole Labor Day Road Race begins and ends at Walpole High School. This local road race directly supports the school’s running programs and has been a town tradition for over 50 years. It is the primary fundraiser for the high school’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams, providing support for more than 200 student athletes throughout their seasons. The race accommodates families, allowing strollers with those runners starting at the rear. Early registrants will receive the official race T-shirt. All participants completing the race are awarded a medal, and top finishers receive engraved placement medals. The overall male and female winners will have their names added to the Herb Lewis Memorial Trophy and John Murphy Trophy, respectively. Teams will be recognized on a plaque displayed at Walpole High School.
