2 Jetties Fun Run - 2017 2026

The Jetties Fun Run is a Christmas beach run in Adelaide. It begins beside Glenelg Jetty, proceeds down the sand to Brighton Jetty, and then returns to Glenelg. The primary event is an 8.4 km out-and-back course, commencing in the morning and adopting a relaxed structure within the Bay Sports Festival. The Adelaide Harriers organized the race in conjunction with the Bay Sports Festival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for families and competitive runners alike. A 1 km Junior Dash was available along the beach for children, with participants under 10 accompanied by an adult. Depending on the tide, a section of the course might shift onto The Esplanade. Awards were presented to the top three male and female finishers, who were required to be in attendance to claim their prizes. The Harriers subsequently ceased managing the event, with inquiries redirected to Athletics SA or the Bay Sports Festival.
