Om detta lopp
The Klever Citylauf begins and concludes on the Festwiese in Kleve Stadtpark, with races scheduled throughout the afternoon and evening. This event serves Kleve’s local runners, including schoolchildren, casual runners, corporate teams, and club athletes. Distances range from 400 m for Bambinis and 1,000 m for students, up to a 5,000 m run open to all, and a 10,000 m main race. A 5 x 2,000 m relay is integrated into the 10,000 m race, allowing teams to divide the longest distance.
The course incorporates the Stadtpark environment, extending through the Tierpark and alongside the Prinz Moritz Canal before heading back to the Festwiese. LV Marathon Kleve e.V. and the city of Kleve are the organizers, and the event has been a fixture in Kleve’s running schedule for over 30 years. TAF-Timing handles the timing, with results posted online. All participants receive a certificate, and students and Bambinis are awarded medals. The finish area offers typical local race amenities: beverages, coffee and cake, cold drinks, grilled food, and prizes for top age-group finishers.
