Miles for Maggie's - Edale Skyline Challenge | Maggie 2026

The Miles for Maggie's - Edale Skyline Challenge is a hiking event in the Peak District National Park, raising funds for cancer support. Participants can select 10 or 20-mile circular routes, both beginning and concluding at Edale Village Hall. A registration fee of £40-£50 is required, alongside a fundraising goal of £200-£300 based on the chosen distance. Entrants must be over 16 years old. The 20-mile route includes 4,108 feet of elevation gain and typically requires 10 to 12 hours to complete. The 10-mile option usually takes 5 to 6 hours. Participants will hike the High Peak circuit, crossing Mam Tor and The Great Ridge. Marshals and refreshments are available along the course. All finishers will receive a Maggie's t-shirt and a medal.
