Cedar Island 5K Swim 2026

Join us for the 17th annual open water swim in the Avalon back bays around Cedar Island. Named "One of America's Top Open Water Swims," the course is counter-clockwise, with the tide at the start and finish. The event begins with a "mass in water start." There is a "90 minute cut off time that is strictly enforced." Proceeds support SNEAKERS FOR SOLDIERS. Participants receive an XTERRA backpack, custom socks, and a finisher towel. Check-in is at Avalon Yacht Club; jitney shuttles run from street parking.
