Route 66 Run -Stop 3 Joliet 2026

Join us for Stop 3 of the Solidarity Sidekick Run for ALS on August 31, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The event will take place in Joliet, following a 6.6K course along historic Route 66, starting and ending at the Old Joliet Prison. This distance commemorates the Route 66 Centennial. Following the run, participants can enjoy refreshments and socialize. All participants will receive a swag bag, a finisher medal, and access to the post-race celebration. This event is part of a series supporting Enric Casacuberta's run along the entire Illinois stretch of Route 66 to raise awareness for ALS. Small solidarity runs are organized alongside his journey. Participants who complete the first nine events will receive a special commemorative medal. Completing all 18 stops will earn participants three medals and three specialized shirts. The event encourages running, walking, and cheering to raise money for ALS.
