The Haunted Forest Marathon

The Haunted Forest Marathon is a Halloween-themed race weekend in Canal Fulton, Ohio, offering marathon, half marathon, and 5K distances. Races begin on Erie Street in downtown Canal Fulton, with main routes utilizing a crushed limestone and blacktop towpath trail. The course is notably flat; the marathon features 59 feet of elevation change, and the half marathon has 40 feet, providing a favorable setup for runners seeking a fast time. The half marathon follows an out-and-back format, covering the initial 13.1 miles of the marathon course and turning around at mile 6.5 before heading back to the start/finish area. Marathon participants continue north on the Towpath Trail for the second half.
