2. Limes-Marathon-Marsch Fränkisches Seenland - Seenland.Events 2026

The Limes-Marathon-Marsch Fränkisches Seenland is a 42 km autumn marathon march in Germany’s Franconian Lake District, centered on Brombachsee. It is designed for walkers and long-distance hikers seeking a full marathon distance on foot, prioritizing nature, endurance, and companionship over speed. The route encircles Brombachsee, crosses quiet forest paths, and crosses the historic Limes, also known as the Teufelsmauer. Participants may enter with or without a dog, and on-site registration is possible for an additional fee. Following the finish, San Shine Camp will host the customary closing party featuring music, fire, drinks, and regional fare; food and beverages will be available for purchase.
