ATW Bedford Running Festival

The ATW Bedford Running Festival takes place the first weekend of September with multiple races starting in Bedford: a Fun Run, Bedford 5k, Twilight 10K, Bedford Half Marathon, and a 20 Mile race. It is structured as a weekend event rather than a single race, offering shorter options for families and beginners alongside longer distances for those seeking a serious challenge. The event attracts first-time runners, club athletes, charity groups, and families, resulting in a more diverse field than a typical road race. The festival site also features live music, food, drink, and family activities. All finishers receive a custom medal and race goodies. Runners completing two or more main distances (excluding the Fun Run) earn an additional reward and a chance to spin a prize wheel.
