The Rotary Dorset Bike Ride is a charity sportive bike ride suitable for all the family, amateur, or serious cyclists. It offers 5 routes ranging from 22 to 80 miles in length, allowing participants to choose their challenge. All routes start and end at Longthorns Campsite in Wareham. The event aims to be an enjoyable day while raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Supporters can also participate in a static bike ride on-site with live music. Free entry is provided for children under 16 for online registrations, provided they are accompanied by a full fee-paying adult responsible for their safety. The event is known for its friendly volunteers and raises much-needed funds for cancer research.
