3. Blaulichtlauf der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Schwaan

The Blaulichtlauf of the Schwaan Volunteer Fire Department is a 52 km fire-brigade-themed run in Schwaan, organized by the Friends of the Schwaan Fire Department. Runners begin at the Schwaan Sports Hall, located at John Brinkmann Str. 15, which also serves as the bib pickup point. Participants can register as individuals or as part of a relay team, with each relay consisting of two to eight runners. The course completes a loop through the Amt Schwaan, visiting each local fire station within the administrative district. Approximately one-fifth of the route is on asphalt, with the majority on solid forest and field paths. The designated sections connect Schwaan, Benitz, Groß Grenz, Letschow, Vorbeck, Werle, Rukieten, and Wiendorf before returning to Schwaan. The longest segments are found between Werle and Rukieten, and between Rukieten and Wiendorf. This event is in its third edition.
