Sct. Hans Løbene 2026

Sct. Hans Løbene is a sports event in psychiatry, with over 1000 participants. The event features race routes of 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km, all set in the beautiful surroundings of Psychiatric Center Sct Hans, either in Boserupskoven or along Roskilde Fjord. The races started in 1994 and take place annually at the end of August or beginning of September at Psychiatric Center Sct Hans. The race day is a celebration with sandwiches and fruit for everyone, T-shirts, medals, and attractive raffle prizes. The band "Wild and Gentle" plays well-known rock melodies. Participants come from all over the country, and the races serve as a training goal for many centers nationwide, with many also using the day as an excursion and a forest trip. The atmosphere is cheerful, and all participants do their best, with some running very fast, while others complete the course in wheelchairs or with walkers.
