Battel Bonfire Boyes BBB10k

The BBB10k is a 10k road race held in Battle, East Sussex, organized by the Battel Bonfire Boyes. It begins at 09:30, utilizing country lanes and tarmac. The accurately measured route is suitable for both novice runners and faster club athletes. The local setting provides a distinct atmosphere, with runners assembling in a small historic town rather than a large urban start area. The course winds through Battle’s old streets, extends into nearby villages, and concludes at the historic Battle Abbey. While generally fast, the hilly sections prevent it from being a consistently flat personal-best course. Local residents offer support to runners near the finish line. All entries receive a bespoke medal, with trophies and prizes awarded to top finishers. A 1500m chip-timed Junior Run also takes place, starting outside The Abbey.
