Laganside 10K 2026

The Laganside 10K begins and ends within Belfast’s Ormeau Park, on the path close to the Ormeau Road entrance and the Bowling Pavilion. North Belfast Harriers organize this race annually, with the main 10K commencing at noon following a Junior Mile earlier in the day. It is a road race with a very flat profile, featuring only 19 metres of elevation gain, making it suitable for runners aiming for a fast time and those seeking a simple city 10K. The route consists of two laps, starting within Ormeau Park before proceeding onto Ravenhill Road and along Albertbridge Road towards the Lagan towpath. This towpath section offers runners views of the River Lagan before the course loops back to the park finish. The event attracts substantial participation, and the children's one-mile race ensures it is more than solely a senior club race day.
