The Wye Valley Brewery Sportive begins and ends at Wye Valley Brewery in Stoke Lacy, near Bromyard in Herefordshire. This late-season cycling sportive offers two route options: the 60km Half Pint and the 85km Full Pint. Both routes are suitable for intermediate riders, not absolute beginners, and the event anticipates a large turnout, with approximately 1000 participants expected. Let’s Go Velo manages the event, and riders will have a rolling start rather than a mass start.
The routes traverse the rolling countryside of Herefordshire, situated between the Malvern Hills and the Wye Valley. Cyclists will encounter hop farms, river vistas, and open country roads. Support services include feed stops, mechanical assistance, medical cover, a pick-up vehicle, bike storage, restrooms, complimentary parking, and event photography. The brewery's involvement extends to the finish: participants receive a bottle of Wye Valley Brewery beer, with a BBQ and refreshment area available at the brewery.
