Sydrehs Back to Frontyard Ultra
Freitag, Mai 22, 2026 · Perth, Australien
Startort
Herdsman Lake
Perth, WA
Über dieses Rennen
Herdsman Lake serves as the central point, the same location runners recognize from Herdy’s, but with the course reversed: “It’s Herdy’s but in reverse.” Sydrehs Back to Frontyard Ultra is a backyard ultra, meaning the race follows a straightforward loop with a demanding structure. There is no aim for a specific finish time; the format continuously challenges participants until only one remains.
Runners depart on the loop at the start of each hour, and this timing dictates the entire event: run, recover, refuel, decide, and repeat. Failing to meet the cutoff or deciding to stop ends a runner's participation for the day, marked as a DNF, as the group narrows down to the “Last one standing.” This event attracts individuals who grasp that the challenge lies not solely in speed or terrain, but in endurance, perseverance, and the minor choices made between circuits.
