The Trail Valle de Tena is a mountain running series held in Panticosa, Huesca, Spain, within the Aragonese Pyrenees. Typically taking place in late summer, it offers participants various distances, ranging from short trail runs of approximately 5-11 km to marathon and ultra distances of about 42-80 km. The longest event is also available as a relay, accommodating more than just solo ultra runners.
The courses begin near Panticosa and venture into rugged Pyrenean terrain, featuring high mountains, rocky areas, glacial lakes, verdant valleys, and streams. The race emphasizes the Valle de Tena landscape over urban or park paths. A unique award is presented to the quickest runners ascending between Balneario de Panticosa and Garmo Negro, provided they complete the full race.
