whynot Legacy Sounio 2026 - Adults Aquathlon

The whynot Legacy Sounio Standard Triathlon Team Relay is a standard-distance triathlon relay held in the Sounio area of Lavreotiki, Greece. The course consists of a 1500m swim, a 40km bike ride, and a 10km run. This event is part of a November race weekend organized by the Municipality of Lavreotiki, Grecotel Cape Sounio Resort, and whynot, supported by Greek culture and tourism organizations. The relay is offered alongside individual standard and sprint triathlons, sprint relays, aquathlon races, and open-water swims. This variety attracts adults, juniors, swimmers, triathletes, and teams who divide the tasks across different sports. The swim program features 300m kids, 1500m, and 3000m events. All whynot swim races require participants to use a safety buoy. The swim events also contribute to the Grand-Prix OWS and WSL OpenWater league standings.
