Über dieses Rennen
Night Marathon at Fukuda Denshi Arena is an after-dark running event inside the football stadium in Chiba, about an eight-minute walk from the nearest station. It is the first night marathon staged there since the arena was completed, and its main draw is simple: runners get onto a route beside the pitch, an area normally closed to the public. The race also keeps the practical side comfortable, with a covered stand used as the waiting area plus indoor changing rooms and showers.
The course is a circuit, so runners keep seeing other participants instead of disappearing onto a point-to-point road route. Family, friends, and workmates can enter the stands for free, which makes it easier for groups to watch together without buying spectator tickets. Timing is handled by automatic IC chips, with same-day printed result certificates as well as live web results. Karen Maruyama is the guest MC, and entrants can choose whether or not to receive the participation T-shirt.
