Über dieses Rennen
The 4100D Mountain Trail in Nozawa Onsen is a demanding trail race held in Nozawa Onsen Village. This Japanese mountain hot spring town is also a destination for skiers during winter. The "4100" in the race title signifies the course’s 4,100 meters of elevation change. The route is considered one of Japan’s most challenging trail running events.
The course features numerous climbs and descents within the hills surrounding the village. On the long course, runners pass the start area twice, simplifying refueling and crew support compared to a point-to-point mountain route. Upon completion, participants receive complimentary access to Nozawa Onsen's 13 public baths, offering a distinctly local recovery by soaking tired legs in the village’s hot springs.
