Über dieses Rennen
Supermaraton Gór Stołowych begins in Karłów, within the Table Mountains National Park, directing runners onto rocky tourist paths crossing both Polish and Czech sections of the mountains. The event prioritizes mountain trail running over road speed. The primary Ultra course spans approximately 55 km, the Light route is a half marathon, and the short Labirynt Run covers 4 km. It typically takes place in June, attracting seasoned ultramarathoners and newer mountain runners seeking a technical challenge without the commitment of the longest distance.
The paths navigate the Table Mountains' natural labyrinth of rock formations, sharp turns, confined passages, steep ascents, and uneven terrain. The Light route commences at the park’s Training and Educational Center in Karłów and concludes at the Na Szczelińcu mountain shelter, with aid stations positioned near the Szczeliniec parking area and again at Błędne Skały. Organizers supplement the standard tourist trail markers with tape, and time limits are enforced: 5 hours for the half marathon, 11 hours for the Ultra, and 1.5 hours for the Labirynt Run. SGS holds a distinct position in the Polish trail-running schedule by featuring some of the area's most unique landscapes rather than solely emphasizing distance.
